First impressions of expert photographs are everything when selling out a property and most potential home buyers’ first impression is the MLS listing photos. So in order to make an exceptional first impression, expert photographs are essential.
However, not just any photos will work, they are required to be taken by an expert real estate photographer. An expert will be able to showcase a home and produce exceptional photos. Photos that are going to compel as many buyers as possible. Expert real estate photographers will have exceptional lighting and they are fully aware of the perfect angles.
The world’s best realtors also hire expert real estate photographers for their listings. So it’s vital for sellers to know about the listing agent’s marketing plan BEFORE they get an expert on board.

Are Real Estate Expert Photographs Necessary?
Real estate expert photographs are a must when selling out a property. Most MLS’s won’t allow agents to enter a listing without at least a single photo. Some agents are not willing to add more than one photo, so this need doesn’t influence them. While other agents plan on uploading photos but they still require to be taken. So in order to get around this MLS need, they’ll upload a “coming soon” image or a single photo of the exterior.
Following either approach when uploading a new listing is a horrible idea. It’s understandable, few sellers and agents are anxious to get a listing uploaded into the MLS and don’t find the loss in uploading photos at a later date. There are thousands of issues with this strategy.
The main problem of adding a listing without photos is losing prospective buyers. Once a property is uploaded into the MLS is when it’s going to get the maximum amount of views. It’s basically the first impression! The odds of a buyer revisiting a pictureless listing after they’ve ruled it out is potentially zero. The time a seller or agent thinks they’re losing by waiting for expert photographs isn’t a loss at all, it’ll be a complete gain. That is if the photographs are quite appealing.
