So, I’ve decided to become a real estate agent! One of the best perks of working in Illinois, or really anywhere in the States, is seeing all the innovative and gorgeous homes. Home staging is surely a mandatory aspect of making my home attractive, so here are a few tips to help me do it yourself:
Bathrooms & Kitchens
The bathroom and kitchen are two places in the home that are carefully scrutinized. They really need to be spot-free. Spotless! Also, having enough counter space is evidently a huge draw for prospective buyers, so I have to clean all the clutter and decorations. They both should be fairly simple.
I will check appliances and fixtures. If needed, I have to get the new ones. These are an awesome selling point or polish up what’s there.

Closet Cleaning
Most sellers and selling agents consider décor, which is generally something of a misstep as it is nearly impossible to capture the style of every potential buyer. What everyone values is storage space! The closet and storage areas must be crystal clear. I have to remove boxes, bins, and large items to show off the open space instead of just organizing them.

Nose Check
If my home for sale has pets or a smoker, it is high time to freshen up! Detach every remnant of smoking or pets that have any kind of fragrance. Such as ashtrays, bedding for pets, etc. I’ll also want to invest in new carpets and area rugs, or will at least pay for a professional steam cleaning.

WHY USE HOME STAGING TO SELL A HOUSE?
Home staging is one of the easiest and effective ways to add value. The home staging includes a vast array of different services, from basic decluttering to a complete interior makeover.
