Something somewhere is very wrong. There could be many reasons my real estate property isn’t seeming lucrative, though. I’ve asked real estate experts what those top reasons might be and they’ve given some sound advice on how to tackle each situation.

Possible Reasons My Property doesn’t Seems Lucrative:

  1. I must be overconfident
  2. If I intend to sell my property then I will snap up for premium price. No matter what its current condition is. But it is not a perfect strategy. Sometimes property owners and agents get overconfident about their property and get lazy to follow the rules which makes their property lucrative..
  3.  I have to be realistic from day one. Although I love my property, I have to brace myself for it to potentially sit on the market for quite some time. And no matter the market conditions are, it’s still vital to position my property to seem lucrative. What does that simply mean? Staging, staging, and more staging.
  4. 2. The property is too pricy
  5. Standard supply and demand conditions often come into play in a real estate’s market: There’s high demand, yet low supply. Therefore, I can generally expect to get more amount for my property. But that doesn’t indicate the sky’s the limit. In a real estate market, a seller may feel comfortable pushing the property price a bit higher, and this can sometimes be a huge blunder.
  6. Determining the best property price is one of the most crucial aspects of making the property lucrative. If I list my property above the market value, I will surely miss out many prospective buyers.
  7. 3. The property needs some Improvements
  8. It is a bitter pill to swallow to pay for property improvements that I may not enjoy for long. But if I want to sell on relatively higher price, I might need to get my property in a condition that warrants it. For example, I have to include a double glazed windows, a latest ceiling fan, a double-bar towel rack, or updated door handles. The ideas sound pretty simple, but a few small changes can make a big differences.
  9. 4. There’s a issue with the title
  10. “Title” in this case doesn’t indicates the funky styled name I might have given to my place (“The Lions,” “The John’ Corner Cottage,” etc.). Rather, it’s the property document that shows ownership. One reason a property wont seem attractive is because there is a problem with the title to the property that spooks buyers.

  12. 5. Advertising photos are subpar
  13. I have seven seconds to make a first impression and the same goes for my property.90% of buyers start their research virtually and make a decision about whether they want to come to see my property based on a quick skim of mine listing photos. If there are some or no photos, or if the photos look ugly because they weren’t professionally taken, or because the property is cluttered (which shows in the photos), many buyers will switch on to the next listing.
  14. 6. My agent doesn’t seem to care
  15. Sometimes there’s nothing wrong with the property at all. The price is just perfect and the property is well-maintained. But my property agent could be turning people off. The property agent is my front-line representative. However few agents have little to no taste, few are burnt-out, few don’t care, and others have no strong interpersonal skills.
  16. If you think a career in real estate is for you, now really is the time to start with managing broker classes.
  17. 7. The property smells bad
  18. There’s a saying in real estate: “If I can smell it, I can’t sell it” If I am immune to the smell of my property, I should get my buddy’s honest opinion. There is nothing like entering a property and smelling a refreshing scent.
  19. 8.
